Walking Excursions
Take a Woodland Stroll

killarney wood

This area of Killarney is a walkers paradise and there are woodland and lakeshore walks right from the door of Ross Castle Lodge where the noble Irish Red Deer roam wild and free.  These shy beauties date back to the ice age and have become extinct in Ireland except in Killarney.
Take an Exhilarating Lake Shore Walk by the
Prehistoric Copper Mines

Or hire a bike, take it on board and from the upper lake, cycle home through the black valley and Gap of Dunloe. A day to remember and at a reasonable cost too!

Lake Cruising

A cruise on Lough Leane is a must.  Take a lake cruiser from the pier at Ross Castle.
